We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading law firm based in Northamptonshire, who are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive to join their well-established and highly regarded team in their Kettering office. The role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified legal professional looking to join a thriving team and play a key supporting role within a busy and growing Private Client department.
You will manage a varied and high-quality Private Client caseload including:
Wills and estate planning
Probate and estate administration
Powers of Attorney
Inheritance Tax Planning
Trust creation and administration
Alongside managing your own files, you will play an important role in supporting the wider team by:
Supporting and supervising junior members of the team
Providing technical guidance to the wider team
Helping maintain high standards of client care and compliance within the department
Working closely with the Head of Team to contribute to the continued success and development of the department
The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who:
Is a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with solid private client experience (ideally 5+ PQE, although flexibility will be considered)
Has strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, IHT and trusts
Is confident supporting and supervising junior colleagues
Is organised, commercially aware and approachable
Enjoys building relationships with clients and professional referrers
Shares our commitment to integrity, professionalism and exceptional client service
STEP qualification would be advantageous but is not essential
