Senior Associate Private Client Solicitor

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading law firm based in Northamptonshire, who are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive to join their well-established and highly regarded team in their Kettering office. The role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified legal professional looking to join a thriving team and play a key supporting role within a busy and growing Private Client department.

You will manage a varied and high-quality Private Client caseload including:
  • Wills and estate planning
  • Probate and estate administration
  • Powers of Attorney
  • Inheritance Tax Planning
  • Trust creation and administration

Alongside managing your own files, you will play an important role in supporting the wider team by:
  • Supporting and supervising junior members of the team
  • Providing technical guidance to the wider team
  • Helping maintain high standards of client care and compliance within the department
  • Working closely with the Head of Team to contribute to the continued success and development of the department

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
  • Is a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with solid private client experience (ideally 5+ PQE, although flexibility will be considered)
  • Has strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, IHT and trusts
  • Is confident supporting and supervising junior colleagues
  • Is organised, commercially aware and approachable
  • Enjoys building relationships with clients and professional referrers
  • Shares our commitment to integrity, professionalism and exceptional client service
  • STEP qualification would be advantageous but is not essential
