Senior Associate/Junior Partner Corporate Commercial Solicitor

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading law firm based in Northamptonshire, who are seeking an experienced Senior Solicitor to join their Corporate Commercial Team in Northampton.

You will be working with an existing team of solicitors, including two Partners, supported by trainees and paralegals and collaborating closely with colleagues across a range of disciplines. The law firm delivers expert advice and support to clients in a range of corporate matters including transactional work, corporate restructuring, employee share schemes as well as commercial contracts and associated advice.

The Ideal Candidate
  • You will have 5 years'+ PQE
  • You will have a good range of experience and be excited to join a growing Corporate Commercial Team that has a great variety of work and strong client relationships.
  • You will drive business development by actively networking, representing the firm at industry events and contribute to their marketing initiatives by working with their award-winning marketing team to generate new leads and drive growth.
  • You will have entrepreneurial instincts and be able to lead transactions, develop client relations and actively contribute to the strategic growth of the division.
In this role, you will also benefit from the experience and support of two Partners in the Corporate and Commercial Team as well as the wider leadership and management team. Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, demergers, commercial agreements and joint ventures.
  • Take primary responsibility for client matters ensuring efficient and excellent delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide strategic, commercially focused advice, with client objectives in mind. Acting as a trusted advisor and building and maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Support the junior team members, provide guidance and contribute to the team's training and learning objectives.
  • Engage in business development activities including representing the firm, building relationships with professional advisors and referrers and engaging with marketing activities including writing for online and print media.
