About the Role:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal to join a busy Residential Property team, with a particular focus on new build transactions. This role would suit someone with around two years’ conveyancing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking to continue developing within a supportive and ambitious firm. Working closely with experienced fee earners, you will play a key role in supporting transactions from instruction through to post-completion, ensuring matters progress efficiently and clients receive an excellent service throughout.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as a first point of contact for clients, developers, brokers and third parties
- Assisting with client onboarding, including ID verification and proof of funds checks
- Supporting new build transactions through the early stages of the process
- Assisting with file opening and general file management
- Preparing completion statements
- Handling LISA and Help to Buy ISA withdrawals
- Managing NHBC warranty portal administration
- Ordering and reviewing searches including Local Authority and Chancel searches
- Preparing SDLT and Land Registry forms
- Providing general administrative support to the Residential Property team
- Supporting team targets and ensuring matters are progressed efficiently
Qualifications:The successful candidate is likely to have:
Required Skills:
- Previous experience within residential conveyancing, ideally new build
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- The ability to manage a busy workload and support multiple fee earners
- Good IT skills and confidence using case management systems
- A proactive and team-oriented approach

Pay range and compensation package:
