We are working with a highly regarded UK law firm with a strong regional presence and an established reputation in private client and family work. As part of its strategic growth plans, the firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Associate who has the ambition and capability to progress to Partnership within the next 12–24 months.

The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a broad private family caseload with minimal supervision
Advise on:
  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial remedy proceedings
  • Cohabitation and nuptial agreements
  • Private children matters
  • Complex and high-value cases
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional referrers
  • Actively contribute to business development and profile-raising activity
  • Support and mentor junior colleagues within the team
  • Deliver against agreed financial and performance targets
  • Ensure high standards of client care, compliance, and file management
  • Play a key role in the strategic growth of the Family department

Skills & Experience Required:
  • Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in private Family Law
  • Comfortable running matters independently and advising clients directly
  • Experience with financial remedy work essential
  • Commercially minded with a clear ambition for Partnership
  • Proven or emerging business development capability
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident, pragmatic, and solution-focused approach
  • Experience using case management systems and standard legal technology
