Account Handler - Insurance & Risk Advisory

Overview:
An established insurance and risk advisory firm is looking for a reliable and organised Account Handler to support its growing portfolio of private and corporate clients. You’ll work closely with brokers and senior account managers, helping to deliver a high standard of service and ensuring the smooth running of client accounts from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients and brokers.
  • Support the management of client accounts, including renewals, policy administration, endorsements, mid-term adjustments and claims liaison.
  • Liaise with brokers, underwriters, claims teams and external partners to ensure client needs are met.
  • Gather and prepare information for renewals, risk reviews and policy updates.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, CRM records and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in producing reports, account summaries and supporting documents.
  • Prioritise and manage multiple client tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide a high level of client service, ensuring timely and proactive communication.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an account handling, broking, client service or administrative role within insurance or financial services.
  • Solid understanding of insurance processes (commercial, corporate, property, or HNW insurance experience an advantage).
  • Strong communication skills with confidence dealing with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or policy management systems is beneficial.
