Review Your LinkedIn profile

October 21st, 2026

Review Your LinkedIn profile, are we hiring you, dating you or trying to find you in a group photo? 👀

We’ve all seen them.

The 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨. Congratulations, but that was two years ago. What have you been doing since?

The 𝐩𝐮𝐛 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨, with a mystery hand on your shoulder and someone else’s pint just in frame.

The 𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬. 𝐈𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫. Are you looking for your next role or waiting for someone outside Tesco?

The 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬’ 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭. You all look lovely. Which one are we recruiting?

Then there are the 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬. A perfectly sensible professional profile, followed by an argument with a stranger that seems to have started three Tuesdays ago.

A little humour, but there is a serious point here.

𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝𝐈𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝. Your photo, headline, experience, posts and comments all contribute to the impression you make.

You don’t need a studio portrait or a personality transplant. You can look like yourself, have opinions and show some character. Just think about whether your 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐚 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐫, 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮.

Your gender, ethnicity or attractiveness should never determine your professional worth. Your 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬, 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 should.
So make those things easy to spot.

At Liberty Towers, we are seeing more applications than ever in 2026. When a head hunter looks at your profile, can they quickly understand what you do, what you have achieved and why they should speak to you?

We developed our 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝𝐈𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐫 to help you take a fresh look.

Upload a screenshot of your profile header and add your target role for AI feedback on your photo, banner, headline and professional positioning. You can also include your About and Experience sections for a deeper review.

Give it a go and let me know what you think.

And if you’re the one in the group photo, please give us a clue.
